Air cooler or liquid cooler — which should I choose?

Choose air for silence, low maintenance and budget; choose AIO liquid for looks, compact cases and extreme overclocking. For CPUs under 200W TDP, a quality air cooler is enough; flagship CPUs benefit from 240/360mm AIOs.

How do I know a cooler can handle my CPU?

Check that the cooler’s rated TDP ≥ the CPU’s TDP with ~30% headroom. E.g. for a 105W CPU, pick a cooler rated ≥150W. Overclocking or sustained loads need more headroom.

Which CPU sockets are supported?

The "Compatibility" section on each product page lists supported sockets (e.g. LGA1700/AM5/AM4). Verify your motherboard socket against the mounting kit list; some legacy mounts are sold separately.

Do AIO liquid coolers need maintenance? Will they leak?

AIOs are sealed and maintenance-free — no refilling needed. They undergo pressure and leak testing at the factory; leakage is very rare in normal use. Avoid bending tubes and check fittings periodically.

How should I arrange case airflow?

Front intake, rear/top exhaust is the standard path. Slightly more intake than exhaust creates positive pressure and reduces dust. Align fans so the convex side faces the exhaust direction. AIO radiators work as top or front exhaust/intake.

How do I choose PSU wattage?

Rated wattage ≥ (CPU + GPU TDP) × 1.5, with room for upgrades. E.g. i7 + RTX 4070 → 750W gold minimum. Prefer 80Plus Gold or higher certified units.

What if my cooler is too loud?

Set a fan curve in the BIOS (low speed at low temp), enable PWM control, add case sound dampening, and check for resonance. For silence, choose low-noise fans or cap speed below 60%.

How long is the warranty?

Coolers/cases/PSUs typically carry a 3-year warranty; some PSUs offer 5–10 years. See the product page or warranty info. Non-artificial defects are repaired or replaced free within warranty.

How do I install a cooler?

Read the manual first. Apply a rice-grain amount of thermal paste, tighten mounting screws diagonally and evenly, and connect the fan to the CPU_FAN header. For AIOs, mount the radiator before the pump block.

How do I sync RGB lighting?

ARGB products connect to the motherboard 3-pin 5V ARGB header and sync via motherboard software; unsupported boards can use a controller. Never connect 5V ARGB to a 12V RGB header.
